A Bar Screen in a polyester pump station

Oct 27, 2021

At the beginning of October, we installed a Bar Screen / Screw Compactor assembly in a “polyester” pump station, which receives wastewater from a hotel with a capacity of 60 rooms.

As you can see in the photos, the Bar Screen is applied against the vertical wall, facing the effluent inlet pipe. It thus effectively protects the pumps placed downstream.

This installation has the advantage of not carrying out a specific screening manhole upstream of the station. We also remind you that all maintenance operations are carried out from the laying plane.

All it took was a short day for our technicians to set up this set and train the operating personnel.
