Last month, we took part in the commissioning of an NG11 automatic bar screen, combined with a VCP250 compacting screw and a VTP200 pivoting conveying screw.

The configuration of the building means that screenings can be compacted and then dumped into a skip at different points depending on how full the skip is.

The FB Procédés electrical box, which operates these 3 pieces of equipment, is mounted on a nearby wall, while a manual control is positioned on the bar screen. The bar screen's cycle time is optimized with the supply of a variable speed drive, which is imperative when reading the bar screen's total height (9,000mm).
