Replacement of a FB bar screen

Apr 12, 2021

Last week, in the Ile-et-Vilaine department, we replaced a bar screen of our own brand, installed in 2002. The new bar screen is now made exclusively from 304L stainless steel, whereas the previous one was made from hot-dip galvanized steel (at least the upper frame).

The special feature of this installation is that it is located in an urban area, in a buried substation. Handling is therefore more complicated. It took our two technicians just one day to carry out the equipment replacement.

An operation punctuated by commissioning, testing and fine-tuning.
