The step bar screen, or Step Screen, type PROSTEP, is the result of 30 years of expertise in screening. More than just an innovative fine screen, it has been developed and designed to meet the most demanding expectations of operators.

This step bar screen has been fully designed with the aim of providing an efficient, robust, and reliable screening solution, while minimizing maintenance and operational costs.

An innovation by FB Procédés: 100% of the submerged parts are made of stainless steel, eliminating the need for plastic spacers, which are less reliable and more expensive. The stainless steel spacers of the PROSTEP step screen provide a longer lifespan and lower maintenance costs.

The design and unique shape of the grate blades have been specifically developed to improve waste gripping, and prevent waste from falling back into the channel.

Thanks to an exclusive, in-house-developed process, the design of the grille ensures maximum reduction in pressure drop.

With its innovative and reliable design, the PROSTEP step screen is assembled with the same level of precision and quality as the entire range of FB Procédés bar screens.

Thanks to its adaptability, numerous options, and custom design for each project, the PROSTEP step screen allows for fine screening (bar spacing from 2 to 6 mm).
